Sales Manager – Key and Asset Management Solutions

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a Sales Professional with experience selling security products eager to develop a route to market with large integrators and specifiers.
Situated in our purpose-built offices in Lincolnshire, deister electronic has been providing solutions to the UK market for over 30 years. Our passion and commitment to value engineering has seen us become a trusted provider of security and asset management systems including highly secure GovPass complaint and NPSA assured access control readers and credentials, long-range vehicle identification as well as intelligent key and asset management solutions.
As part of our Sales team, you will not only create and nurture new client relationships, you will be the face of deister electronic within the industry. From exhibiting and attending trade shows to visiting and hosting client meetings. You will be the expert in our solutions, with the skills to listen to clients, understand their requirements and offer a solution that truly meets their needs.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Developing new and existing customer accounts
- Working with clients to provide technical solutions
- Establishing a network of Security Installers
- Preparing annual key account and sales plans to further increase sales in the region
- The position will be supported, by a team of pre-sales and technical engineers
- The position will be home based and will involve substantial travel to customer sites
What we are looking for:
- A proven track record of selling Asset Management solutions or similar security products
- Experience selling into System Integrators and Security Installers
- Working with specification such as M&E, Consultants and Architects and ability to present CPD’s
- A track record of working autonomously from a home office
- The ability to work as part of a close, mutually supportive team
- Dynamic, upbeat, lively character with the capacity to inspire confidence from first contact
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Full UK driving licence
